Charting Our Own Course

A few weeks ago, we were invited to join one of Southeast Asia's most respected venture programs. The kind of opportunity most early-stage companies would jump at without thinking twice. We spent real time considering it.

We turned it down. Not because it was a bad offer, but because eomer exists to solve a specific problem for a specific set of customers, and we think the fastest way there is staying close to the people who actually use what we build. Venture funding shifts your attention toward growth metrics and fundraising cycles. We want ours on the product.

Our plan is straightforward: build something good enough that customers pay for it, then use that revenue to build the next thing. It's slower on paper. In practice, every feature we ship has a paying user behind it, and every decision answers to the work rather than a pitch deck.

We're a small team, and we intend to stay that way for a while. If you're working on time series problems and want to talk, reach out. We'd rather have ten customers who rely on us than a thousand who signed up for a free trial.
